    This poster, which we believe dates to 1935, is a special display of MGM contract player William Powell. Powell was a big star in the 1930s and 40s. His career persisted into the 1950s, and he had a long and distinguished one. This poster, which was regarded fpr many years as quite scarce, has turned up at auction twice recently. This one has been professionally restored and presents beautifully. We think that it is the nicest example out there.
