    Description

It is with great pride that i present this gorgeous Hopi seed jar, with classic migration patterns, in the fashion made famous by Fannie Nampeyo (which this jar is contemporaneous). In excellent  condition, it measures 7 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall. Produced in the 1940's, it is by the eminent and highly respected Irene Shupla, and is signed with her hallmark on the bottom. Irene's artistic career spanned 5 decades, from 1930 to 1980. Her work has been collected by both the Heard Museum and  the Museum of Northern Arizona. Her work is highly esteemed and somewhat rare. This is a piece that i would dearly love to keep, but it would be unfair to deny it the destiny it deserves. A piece this beautiful and historically significant would grace any Southwest pottery collection in the world. And just think; it could be YOURS! Buy with complete confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price, including return shipping. Rest assured this bowl will be lovingly packed and insured to the hilt, at my expense. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and sincere Congratulations in advance to the VERY lucky buyer. Best Regards Always, Rich
