Gorgeous Vintage Cherry Amber & Black Cameo Brooch! Beautifully Carved!!

Description

This vintage Bakelite cameo brooch is made up of two pieces; a jet black cameo of a Victorian era lady silhouetted against the beautifully carved cherry amber and rust marbled backing.
The artist did a beautiful job of carving the brooch's amber backing! Lovely soft contoured detail frame the black silhouette!!
The brooch has its original roll over "C" clasp that is in perfect working order and stays closed when worn.
The brooch has a 2 1/2" diameter and weighs 28 grams.
The brooch tests positive for Bakelite using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks were seen. No gaps exist in the lamination between the black cameo and the cherry amber backing of the brooch.
