this is a very rare original first-release italian poster or banner featuring bette davis in the warner brothers classic, dark victory.
1946.
humphrey bogart also starred in the film, but is not pictured.
quite large - measures c. 19.5"x54.25"
italian posters for the first few years after WW11 are incredibly rare.
there were major paper shortages in italy after the war, few posters were printed, & many posters were recycled.
the banner is great looking.
nice coloring.
there is some wear/damage that includes -
poster has 3 vertical fold lines & 1 horiz fold line.
creases/creasing/wrinkling in different areas.
edgewear w chips/tears.
very thin linen on the back, but not on the edges.
the imagery is terrific - nearly impossible to find in any condition.
